Cooling Tower chemicals

  • Corrosion Inhibiter: are designed to prevent metal loss and form protective films in metal.it also used oxygen scavenger action from the colling tower water.
  • Biocides: are chemicals that kill algae and blue or green algae, when they are added to water. The problem with most algaecides is that they kill all present algae, but they do not remove the toxins that are released by the algae prior to death.
  • Bio Dispersent: are reducing agent in CWS. It removes the accumulation of microbiological slimes and bio fouling, When they are added to water.
  • Fouling Chemical: Cooling systems provide an ideal environment—warm and wet—for microbes. Bacteria will grow in condensers and cooling tower fill, fungi on and in cooling tower wood and algae on wet cooling tower components exposed to sunlight. Chiller chemicals

Chemical treatment (or dosing): 

  • Proprietary (like NALCOOL) or generic chemicals (like Sodium Silicate, Sodium Nitrite, and Sodium Sulfite) compositions are used to prevent the chiller system from corrosion, scaling, fouling and microbiological growth. How? Fills Pvc

Drift Eliminators

Sprinklers and Water Distribution systems
